Also known as a simmer ring. Use on electric range tops to help prevent clay bake ware from cracking. Keeps the bake ware from direct contact with the stove top electric elements. This is what we recommend to use with the clay bakeware if you do not have a gas stove. This one is a nice diffuser that is inexpensive and great for starting out.

Testimonials

Hello Isabella, just received my order, that was surely quick - everything was packed so nicely, so that means they were all received in excellent condition. Thanks for the samples, and the deodorant powder will last a long time, perfect for our trip the end of April. When you put that on the site, it should be a good seller, because so many people have problems with deodorants that are just horrible for your skin and body.

I need to mention here also about the pomaire clay pots that I got from you, they are absolutely the best pots I have ever used, and I finally found the perfect sizes, the 6qt. soup pot, and the fondue/stew pot, which I used almost every day - they wash up so easy, if anything sticks on the bottom, all I do is put a little water and sprinkle baking soda, leave it for a while and it just comes right up. I use the 6qt. for my famous vegetarian chile, and vegetarian soups, and the fondue/stew pot I use for so much of my cooking - brown rice, tinkyada (brown rice) pastas, sauteeing vegetables, cabbage, etc. and when I am making a smaller pot of soup. With these pots once you get it heated properly and its gets to boiling you have to definitely turn the heat to LOW, I cook everything on low, anyhow. I have another recipe for you.

Green and Red Lentils Soup/Stew (all organic ingredients)

1 cup green lentils, 1 cup red lentils (I use the dry lentils & rinse them)

1 (32oz,) box of Pacific vegetable broth

4 cups (total) chopped vegetables (carrots, red potatoes, & sweet potatoes

3 cups (total) chopped onions, sweet peppers (red, yellow, orange), celery, cilantro, parsley, green onions, and small piece of jalapeno pepper

1 16 oz. can of Muir cream of tomato soup, or pasta sauce

4 tbsp. oil for sauteeing (I use a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, macademia oil which I keep in a glass jar with several cloves of garlic. I use this for all my cooking)
mixed spices, cracked black pepper and chanterelle seasoning

6 to 8 cloves of crushed garlic (the spices and garlic is added to the pot after the soup is cooked)

Put the 4 cups of chopped vegetables, the 3 cups of chopped onions, etc. with the 4 tbsp oil mixture in the 6qt. pomaire clay pot and saute for a few minutes, just to bring out the flavors, then add the rinsed lentils, vegetarian broth, and bring all to a boil, then turn down to low and simmer for an hour, or until the lentils and vegetables are cooked, then add the can of tomato soup/pasta sauce and simmer for another ten minutes. After turning off the stove, then add 1 tsp. of mixed spices (paprika, turmeric & cayenne pepper, which I keep in a jar mixed altogether - I used this for cooking practically everything). Add cracked black pepper and himalayan salt to your taste, two tsp,. of chanterelle seasoning, and six to 8 cloves of crushed garlic. You can add more heated vegetarian broth to the pot, if you like it more soupy than stewy. Let the soup sit for about 15 minutes for the spices, pepper & salt, and garlic to flavor it. After that give it a good stir. If you prefer it soupy, it can be served with a scoop of cooked brown rice. A GOOD NUTRITIOUS WINTER WARMUP!!!
